There’s no doubt about the fact that technology has filled human lives and made it easy. Many children born in the 21st century will probably see many things like the smart phone, internet, cars and other common technological appliances as normal parts of life, not knowing that they were invented and adopted to make life easier. Technology has become integrated with our lives such that we are not aware of the effect of many common ones because they’re always there. However, there are some technologies that are very present in the world right now that we do not know of. This article looks to explore the list of technologies in this category.
This rare technology is made of graphite. It is a strong layer if graphite that is only one atom thick. This technology was created in the United kingdom at the University of Manchester. Coupled with its uniquely strong characteristic, is its ability to conduct heat and even electricity. When it is used on the casing or coating of other technological appliances like smartphones and PCs, it can make it last longer and keep its unique beautiful look such that it still looks the same after long usage. It is also said that this technology can make mobile devices flexible! This is one of the coolest possibilities. Also, Gate Foundation has donated $100000 to the developers of this technology to produce thinner and more durable condoms with latex and graphene.
As the name suggests, this is a small type of robot that is not bigger that 10 meters or maybe even less. This technology is used mostly in the medical sector for detecting diseases like cancer and for performing nano surgeries. Although this technology is already in use in the treatment of cancer; such that drugs can be delivered to the exact part of the body where it is needed, more research I’d being done to ensure the utmost use of this technology.
Vehicles that are powered by hydrogen fuel-cells have advantages that are way higher than vehicles powered by electricity and hydrocarbons including zero-emmisions. Normal cars or other cars charge their batteries for more than five hours and sometimes up to twelve hours, with a battery charger, before the car can function with the battery. However, fuel-cells make life even easier. A fuel-cell vehicle generates power from natural gas or stored hydrogen and powers up the battery even will it is being used in the car. It also converts the emissions back to energy by trapping and recycling the waste heat. This makes it easier to use, less hazardous to the environment and even keeps the car working round the clock without worrying about power or energy in the battery.
