Rapper and singer Lil Wayne made a huge mistake when he by mistakenly tweeted R.I.P’ Lamar Odom while the star is still fighting for his life and in is a critical situation. Weezy appeared to pay respect to ‘LO’, but the basketball champ is still giving a tuff fight to the death in the hospital. As the tweet from rapper seemed to be a premature tribute, the basketball star found unconcious in a brothel in Vegas. He wrote: “R.I.P Dam man. My blessings to our fam and friends. (sic)”
The error was spotted by the fans and been pointed out that Lamar hasn’t passed away – while one of them even questioned why Lil Wayne hadn’t deleted the message. He later simply added “Woop”, although neither tweet had been deleted at the time of writing.
The 35-year-old NBA star was rushed to hospital in the early hours of yesterday morning after being found unconscious at Dennis Hof’s Love Ranch in Nevada. The sportsman was taken to Desert View Hospital in Nevada before being moved to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center where he is battling for his life. Workers at the Nevada brothel claim the former NBA star had been using cocaine in the days before the incident, as the 911 call was released.
A source has now claimed to Mail Online that Lamar was showing the girls in the brothel pictures of his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian, and appeared a “broken man”.
A source told the site: “He was all freaked out about Khloe, fixated on her. He was showing the girls photos of them together and wanted to pour his heart out, he wasn’t there just for sex, he needed a shoulder to cry on, companionship. He seemed lost. But ultimately he wanted to party and would break down in tears from time to time. He told the girls he was a broken man, that he thought his life was a mess and he had no direction. He was partying non-stop, using cocaine and taking Viagra and the girls saw other drugs paraphernalia lying around.”
Lamar reportedly felt “stressed” when he arrived, and the girls offered to give him a massage to relax him.
News that doctors found “virtually every drug imaginable”.
The 911 caller, Love Ranch media director Richard Hunter, claimed the player, who remains in a “critical condition”, had cocaine with him on Saturday when he arrived. He also told that Lamar had used upto 10 tabs of sexual performance enhancers – herbal Viagra – during his stay.
During Wednesday afternoon’s press conference, the Nye Country Sheriff’s Office also said there’s a possibility Lamar could be charged with drug possession.
The player is reportedly likely to have suffered “brain damage” as a result of a “loss of oxygen but also possible stroke,” and doctors are treating the situation as a non-suicidal “overdose.” Meanwhile, sources claim to TMZ that the NBA star suffered multiple strokes and has begun to suffer organ failure with just a 50/50 chance of survival. Lamar’s rep issued a statement saying: “Family and friends are extremely concerned for Lamar. Please don’t listen to the false information being circulated unofficially. Please respect the family’s privacy during this difficult time.”
