Blizzard has revealed the upcoming physical and digital contents of the StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void. The collector’s edition features various contents such as soundtracks, behind-the-scenes set, colors of the Protoss race, among others.
“Legacy of the Void’s CE will be available at retail alongside the standard game on November 10. According to listings on Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop, it’ll carry a price of $80, twice that of the standard $40 version. There’s also a third version of the game, the digital deluxe bundle, that comes with the game itself and the bonuses in StarCraft and the other games for $60,” Gamespot said.
“StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void” Collector’s Edition is expected to arrive on Nov. 10 both in Windows and Macintosh. Aside from the DVD version of the game, players will also be able to get an exclusive disc— both in DVD and Blu-ray format—which contains some in-game bonuses and features,” according to Polygon.
Below are some part of the game’s collector’s edition.
• StarCraft II: Purifier skins for Protoss Adepts and Colossi, and three Protoss portraits
• World of Warcraft: Archon pet
• Diablo III: Probe pet and Protoss armor transmog
• Hearthstone: Protoss-themed card back
• Heroes of the Storm: Void Speeder mount
“Agreed. Deeply disappointed the lore book isn’t included in the regular edition. I remember being so excited about opening a new Blizzard game because, on top of the game, I would get to read all the great lore in the little booklet that was included. Seems those days are gone forever,” a player named Equalizer said.
