In this season of “The Bachelor,” we were introduced to serial entrepreneur, Ben Flajnik. This bachelor surprised us all when he proposed to show villain, Courtney Robertson in the show’s finale. And here comes the plot twist — they broke it off straight after, only to reunite on the ‘After the Rose’ live special.
The man claimed he chose her because he couldn’t believe a model was actually into him. Superficial, anyone? It’s no wonder the relationship didn’t last more than a year — we can just imagine the scintillating conversation between these two. To make things worse, the exes had a nasty break up in 2012, both giving out interviews to tabloid magazines and talking badly about each other.
Now: Brad Womack
Womack stayed out of the public eye, focusing on the bars he owns with his brothers, in Texas. He started dating Ashlee Frazier, one of the contestants on "The Bachelor" 17th season. But, yes, you probably guessed it, they broke it off.
Brad has made a conscious effort to stay out of social media, having no Twitter or Instagram accounts. Seems like "The Bachelor" wasn't really the right place for Womack to find true love. Oh well, we're sure he does fine with his fancy Texas bars!
Now: Emily Maynard
Maynard played it smart and became the star of "The Bachelorette", where she got engaged to Jef Holm. Even though their relationship didn't last longer than a few months after the show finale, it was clear that Maynard had achieved her goal of remaining in the spotlight after the Womack fiasco.
Emily married Tyler in 2014, and the couple now have six stunning kids. She lives a happily married life in North Carolina, where she enjoys the profits of her NYT bestseller, "I Said Yes: My Story of Heartbreak, Redemption and True Love." Well played, Emily!
Now: Ben Flajnik
Ben continued as an entrepreneur and went on to co-found Fernet San Francisco, an artisanal fernet company. After breaking it off with Robertson, there were rumors that Flajnik was dating Kris Jenner. Oh, and this stud also used to date Jennifer Love Hewitt, before his 'bachelor' days.
Flajnik went on to meet now-former-girlfriend Stephanie Winn through Tinder. But apparently, they broke it off. Now officially off the market, Flajnik married a woman who is not in show business in an intimate ceremony in late 2023.
Now: Courtney Robertson
This girl certainly took her 15 minutes of fame pretty seriously. She squeezed the opportunity up until the very last drop, releasing a memoir in 2014 about her time as a villain on the reality TV show. Robertson clearly states that she didn't go on the show to make friends. The book went on to make The New York Times Best-Seller List.
After splitting up with Flajnik, Courtney started dating Arie Luyendyk, a finalist from "The Bachelorette" season 8. However, as it often happens with quick rebounds, they didn't last. Nowadays, Courtney is married to lawyer Humberto Preciado, and the two raise their family in LA.
