California native Teri Hatcher became a household name after starring in the role of Lois Lane in 1993’s “The New Adventures of Superman.” Then she became Susan Mayer in the hit show “Desperate Housewives,” but before all this, Hatcher was a cheerleader for none other than the epic San Francisco 49ers.
Also of note is that Hatcher had her cheerleading stint back in the 1980s, which meant that she was cheering for the 49ers when they had the legendary Joe Montana as a quarterback! In recent years Hatcher has starred in the romcom “Mid Life Crises” and, in 2023, returned to “Fantasy Island.”

Before playing real estate princess Toni Childs in the TV show “Girlfriends” and landing other minor film and television gigs, Jill Marie Jones was already a star on the sidelines. For one year only, between 2015 and 2016, Jones played the role of Amanda Fisher in the horror comedy series, "Ash vs Evil Dead."
This Texas girl was a cheerleader in high school and went on to cheer for her hometown sports teams as well – the Dallas Mavericks and the Dallas Cowboys. Undoubtedly, this helped catapult her acting career and get her recognition in the entertainment industry. You go, girl!
