Fields to plow? Grain to carry? Anything else to do around the farm? Consider it done when this tractor starts up. In actuality, this is a racing tractor, and we hope it wins because otherwise, SOMETHING will get destroyed.
Look at those three huge exhausts! How much horsepower does this thing have? Thousands, maybe? This tractor is ready to start its engines and bring home the trophy. Don’t worry about safety; there’s a roll bar. We’ve finally figured it out. Any time a tractor gets stuck in the mud or a lake, this is the machine that they roll out to free the first.
The Mod Squad
Customizing your ride is a common thing to do. Whether it's for a specific purpose, because you like to showboat, or it's just something you can do with your hands when you have some free time, plenty of people do it. Of course, most modifications aren't like this little tractor, which at first glance looks like a grill.
They've jacked up the undercarriage and added some bigger wheels – and look! It's for sale! For what is almost certainly a low, low price, you can be the proud owner of this Frankensteined vehicle. The real question is... what will you do to make it even better?
Necessity Is the Mother of Invention
Getting the landscape looking its best can be a tough job, especially if you don't have the right tools. But, a few hard workers are always ready to devise a workaround. Don't have a hedge trimmer? No problem. Just Loop some supportive cables under the chassis of a riding mower – keeping well away from the rotors, of course – and start moving.
Depending on the setup, this might even be faster than the traditional way to get perfectly manicured hedges. It also means schlepping fewer tools, but you're definitely going to get some strange looks if you do this in a suburb or a more populated area.
We Believe This Is Called Irony
Tractors do a lot more than make sure fields are properly plowed. In places with a lot of snowfall, these heavy machines pull plenty of duty clearing roads so that people can get to and from work without getting stuck or sliding the whole way there.
Of course, some storms even catch tractors unaware. This one might not have been clearing highways, but even a parking lot can become a big issue if there's enough snow in the way. Thankfully, tractors are built to deal with things like this – as long as it can start, it can probably get out of there.
The One Place Tractors Can't Go
Tractors are the kinds of the field, the construction site, and plenty of other places, but even they shouldn't go everywhere. One of those places is deep water, a sea or ocean, for instance. We're sure this guy had a good reason to take his tractor for a swim, but we can't see it in this picture.
Still, as long as he has some solid ground, he's not stuck just yet. Solid ground under the water is a little harder to find than on dry land, but it doesn't look like he's in any trouble if his friend's stance is any indication.
