While it looks like these young kids are having the time of their lives showing off to each other in their whips, that is not the case. If you look in the back, you can see plenty of people working hard to try and get these vehicles unstuck from the mud. Tractors are made to handle plenty of surfaces, but even they have their limits.
This picture comes to us from India, which means these people could be working on farming for themselves and their families. They even had to conscript another tractor to give themselves a fighting chance at success.
The One Place Tractors Can't Go
Tractors are the kinds of the field, the construction site, and plenty of other places, but even they shouldn't go everywhere. One of those places is deep water, a sea or ocean, for instance. We're sure this guy had a good reason to take his tractor for a swim, but we can't see it in this picture.
Still, as long as he has some solid ground, he's not stuck just yet. Solid ground under the water is a little harder to find than on dry land, but it doesn't look like he's in any trouble if his friend's stance is any indication.
I Think I Need More Rope
Look, guys, I'm pulling as hard as I can, but I don't think I will be able to get it out of here. I'm not even wearing any pants. Everybody knows you need pants for this kind of job. We don't know why this tractor decided to take a swim, but it's in the middle of a lake now, and getting it out is more than a one-man job.
We just noticed that the rope he's holding isn't even attached to the tractor, so this one might just be stuck. It can't be stuck that badly if the guy is only up to his knees.
One Is the Loneliest Number
While seeing this lost and lonely piece of machinery might bring a tear to your sensitive eye, there's no need to cry. This is one of the many tractors that crab fishermen at Cromer Beach in North Norfolk, United Kingdom, use to launch their boats.
The owner of this colorful tractor is somewhere out on the water, collecting nets full of little pinchers until he comes back to the tractor to head home with his catch. It might look a little sad, but this tractor is helping to get some important work done – putting food on the family table.
I Have to Go Shopping Somehow
If you live somewhere with heavy rain or snowfall, you've probably gone out to your car to find the roads impassable once or twice. Maybe you struggled through it, or maybe you gave up and called into work, saying you couldn't make it. Here we see something similar at Mount Sorrel, Leicestershire, United Kingdom.
Heavy rain and flooding made the roads difficult for normal cars, but a tractor isn't a normal car, now is it? It's not a car at all, now that we think about it. This is why, even when the road has been washed out, it has no trouble getting to the store.
