In March 2012, Kate donned a blue M Missoni tweed coat for the first time. The long jacket was a perfect choice for the opening of a charity shop in Norfolk, England.
On this occasion, Kate chose to accessorize the blue coat with yellow flowers pinned to her chest. The flowers stood out beautifully against the blue of the coat. She didn’t have any accessories that day besides her ring and wore her hair down in a simple style.
Pink Mulberry Coat - March 2015
A short while later, Kate wore the pink Mulberry jacket again, this time to the Stephen Lawrence Centre. She ditched the black gloves and wore her hair down in flowing waves around her face. However, she again paired the look with a black clutch.
During this outing, Kate’s baby bump was much more pronounced. You could easily see her belly protruding and pressing against the buttons of the jacket. Considering Charlotte’s birth was just two months away, her expanded figure wasn’t a surprise.
Pink Mulberry Coat - January 2018
The pink Mulberry coat is an outfit of choice for Kate while she’s pregnant. Three years after her visit to the Stephen Lawrence Centre, Kate wore the jacket again. This time, she was pregnant with Prince Louis.
Kate wore the vibrant coat while visiting the Coventry Cathedral in early 2018. She donned black gloves again and carried her black clutch once more, but left her hair down and flowing around her face. Her baby bump wasn’t even visible among the folds of the jacket.
M Missoni Tweed Coat - March 2014
In March 2014, Kate attended the wedding of Lucy Meade and Charlie Budgett alongside Prince William. For the occasion, she again donned the M Missoni tweed coat. This time, however, Kate’s outfit looked utterly different.
Rather than the simple style of March 2012, Kate chose to make the outfit wedding-worthy. She wore her hair up in half-up, half-down style, and placed a lovely black hat with a bow on her head. She also carried a black clutch and no longer sported the yellow flowers of the 2012 look.
Light Blue Roksanda Ilincic Dress - July 2011
Early in her marriage to Prince William, Kate wore this stunning Roksanda Ilincic dress on a trip to Los Angeles. The light blue color is simple and understated, but the ruffles on the top and cinched waistline give the dress a stylish look.
On this occasion, Kate pulled her hair back from her face and carried a nude clutch. She also paired a silver watch with her wedding ring. The outfit is classy enough for a princess, but casual enough for a day of roaming around Los Angeles.
