This “clash of the egos” was real. Amid filming a battle scene with bullets whizzing, explosions exploding and aircraft hovering, George Clooney spotted director David Russell screaming at some extras so they could hear his voice above the din.
Clooney rushes over like a superhero to save the poor extras. After a few words, they’re rolling on the ground fighting “the dumb fight.”
Teri Hatcher and the Desperate Housewives cast
They are BFF All-Stars on TV. But behind-the-scenes Terri Hatcher was the odd-woman out. Now that the show has ended and Felicity Huffman has been charged with college admission corruption, the bullying and toxic environment of the ’90s show has spilled everywhere.
Nicollette Sheridan once called Teri the “meanest woman in the world.” And, for example, the cast organized her out of everything, even when it came to casting crew gift-giving.
Tina Fey and Paris Hilton
Tina Fey is known for her rant against the heiress diva. Disgusted by Paris Hilton’s SNL host invite, Fey unloaded, “She’s unbelievably dumb and so proud of how dumb she is.
She looks like a tranny up close.” She goes on about her “nasty wads of Barbie hair.” If Hilton bit back, it’s yet to be seen. Perhaps she enjoyed the headline attention.
Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey
Their rivalry got lit on American Idol. Mariah was chosen as a judge first. A couple of months later, Nicki Minaj joined the panel. Sparks flew. During an audition in 2012, the divas clashed. The expletive-laden discussion prompted Minaj to say, “I told them, I’m not putting up with her highness over there.”
First of all, she did not want to be called “gangster.” Mariah had a few other choice words. She griped, “I don't get to see my kids because you decided to act like a crazy diva.” The show had to wrap for the day.
Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin
They hosted NYC’s New Year’s Eve show for 10 years. The playful friendship fell into the abyss after Kathy Griffin posted a gruesome photo of herself holding a photoshopped image of Donald Trump’s decapitated head. She was fired from the gig after Anderson spoke out against it.
Griffin was devastated saying, “It still hurts. I mean, I really loved him. I don’t have a punchline for that.” Cooper says he wishes her the best but there’s no end in sight for this riff.
