After Miles was born, discussions about IVF and infertility opened up on Chrissy Teigen’s social media handles. It began when an Instagram follower asked inappropriate questions about the conception of baby No. 2. Other fans objected and dissed the follower for being insensitive. But Teigen did not take offense to it.
She believed that people were just curious. It was crucial to have honest conversations about IVF – the good, the bad, and everything in between. Infertility should not be taboo. The more open the conversations are, the quicker one can destigmatize the issue, and Chrissy was well and truly aware of this.
Luna’s Baby Brother
On January 28, 2018, Legend and Teigen confirmed the baby’s sex – a boy. Teigen posted a photo of herself at the Grammy awards with a caption that read, “mama and her baby boy.” The couple already knew it was a boy since they conceived through IVF again, and the only remaining embryo was male.
In 2016, Teigen told People she "picked the little girl," and in that same interview, she mentioned that a boy would come along eventually. It was amazing to think that the couple could give their little girl a brother and that they would now have a girl and a boy in their little family.

Teigen Throws Shade and Scores a Double Whammy
Chrissy Teigen was home with the kids when she spotted her husband giving an interview at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards. She put on her troll hat and jokingly shamed him for being outside of the house when he just had a newborn at home.
Teigen playfully wrote a caption saying John just had a newborn and he should be at home taking care of him! In one tweet, she managed to roast her husband and people who judge new moms for going to work right away after their baby is born. Teigen – 1, haters – 0. She was winning a lot, actually.
Teigen Is Her Husband’s Biggest Fan and Troll
John Legend made history on September 10, 2018, when he became the first African-American man to reach EGOT status. EGOT refers to someone who has won an Oscar, a Grammy, an Emmy, and a Tony award. During the ceremony, a visibly-beaming Teigen could not stop singing her husband's praises.
She published a series of Instagram posts celebrating his win with her signature wit. "And I say hey, what a wonderful kind of day," she wrote. Teigen was referring to a children's show called “Arthur” as a popular meme at the time that said Legend looked like the aardvark on the show!
