What other quality signifies that two friends are close? They give each other very personal gifts. Snoop Dogg gave Martha Stewart a personal (and handmade) gift. Stewart was so touched by the gesture that she dedicated a tweet to show off her new painting created by the one and only Snoop Dogg.
It’s unclear exactly what’s in the painting (a dog? A bear?) but Martha was clearly excited about it. Maybe it’s worth a buck?
Cooking With Friends
Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg soon found themselves back in the kitchen (so to speak) when, in 2016, the two launched a show on VH1 called “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party”. The show centered around the pair inviting their fellow celebrities over for cocktails, dinner, and entertaining conversation.
The show did remarkably well, earning a rating of 86% on Rotten Tomatoes and even an Emmy nomination! It seems these two are indeed a dynamic duo.
These days, one of the marks of a close friendship is a bunch of photos together. And, wouldn’t you know it, Snoop and Martha have some photos together too!
In fact, when he was interviewed by Rolling Stone, Snoop Dogg not only praised his friendship with Stewart but shared a selfie of the two of them on Twitter. The pair definitely seem to appreciate the good relationship that they have.
Talk Show Teammates
Yet another marker of a solid friendship? Appearing on “Ellen” together. Well, maybe just if you’re a celebrity friend duo. Snoop and Martha appeared together on the humorous talk show in 2016.
Anyone who is familiar with the “Ellen” show knows that Ellen DeGeneres doesn’t let her guests leave without playing a fun game so Stewart and Snoop Dogg played “Never Have I Ever” alongside actress Anna Kendrick.
A Special Forward
When Snoop Dogg branched out even further from his music career, he decided to write a cookbook (yeah, a cookbook). The book was titled “From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes From Tha Boss Dogg’s Kitchen” (pretty clever) and the very first pages contained a “forward” portion from a very special friend, you guessed it, Martha Stewart.
If there were any doubt about Snoop’s culinary abilities, having an accolade from Martha Stewart certainly must have helped.
