While one man seems to have an organized workspace, the same can’t be said about his partner who has kicked off his shoes and is getting comfortable while he works.
Sun Bed Siesta
Let's be honest, shopping can be a strenuous exercise, especially if you’re entering the “golden years” of your life. This older man decided to let his shopping partner take over the purchasing duties while he decided to take advantage of this comfortable chaise lounge chair to catch up on his beauty sleep.
We don’t blame the guy though. It’s almost as if that sun bed was tempting him to lie down! After all, if you put beds in a shopping mall, don’t be surprised when some tired shoppers decide to try them out!
An Artistic Rendition of the “Miserable Man”
Like many of the black and white photos that usually line the walls of art galleries, this picture also captures a particularly emotional moment - the moment a man becomes overwhelmed by the sheer amount of shopping his partner has done.

In fact, it seems like all that’s missing is a tag dangling from his toe! While he was able to fall asleep, we think he could have found a more comfortable place to fall asleep considering he has an entire furniture shop at his disposal...
Snoozy Sonata
Recently, many malls have started to feature free-standing pianos where shoppers can practice their musical skills while shopping ‘til they drop. We’re not sure if the man in this picture is exhausted from hitting the keys of the piano, or waiting for someone to finish shopping.
Either way, he decided that those ivory keys aren’t just good for producing music, they make a great pillow! Looking like a concert pianist exhausted from performance, this man is catching up with his sleep. We wonder what Beethoven would say about this piano pillow!
Sleepy Stairwell
When it comes to finding a place to relax, never underestimate the power of a bored man! These men saw that the store they were forced to wait inside was lacking adequate sleeping places so they decided to use the next best thing, a stairwell.
Each step represents a comfortable resting area for each man. Whether they want to sleep, scroll on social media, or chat, this stairwell has become the hottest spot in the shop for those not looking to buy. All they’re missing are some snacks and they may hang out there all day...
Nap Time for Grandpa
While you can find a variety of furniture inside most malls, it’s not every day that you come across a cushioned couch just begging to be sat on! This grandpa was in luck when his family took him to the mall.
Finding a perfect spot on this ornate and comfy couch, he looks like he immediately fell into a deep sleep. With his hands still clasped together and his mouth open, it looks like it wasn’t long before he was peacefully asleep. We actually hope his family takes long in the store because he looks adorably comfortable!
A Miserable Meet-Up
There's a popular saying that says “misery loves company.” While this may not always apply to real life, it certainly applies to groups of equally miserable men waiting inside stores.
These two men found themselves in a similar position while they waited inside this store. While they could take this opportunity to bond over their shopping experience, the two are happy to just have a comfortable spot to sit. We like how one of the men has a rolled-up magazine ready to take on any fly-swatting duties to protect his new (and also miserable) friend.
A Real Ladies’ Man
Being surrounded by women may be an ideal situation for most men, but we have a feeling that nothing could make this trip to the mall good for this older man. Despite his bevy of beauties, this man looks downright miserable.
Perhaps it's the fact that he has to sit outside in what looks like hot and tropical weather, or maybe it's that he wishes one of his “friends” would move over so he could get comfortable. Whatever the reason, this man looks like he can’t wait to get home!

While many people are against the idea of wearing sunglasses indoors, we actually have to applaud this man for his intelligent choice in eyewear. Not only do the sunglasses help create the perfect shaded dark environment for his nap, but it also makes people think he might be awake since they can't see his eyes!
Sitting in this oversized chair, this man looks like he’s truly made himself at home, even hanging up his hat. We might have to learn a thing or two from him!
One Crazy Tea Party
Either this was one heck of a tea party, or this guy just happened to fall asleep in front of a tea set at an antique store. Whatever the reason, someone snapped this picture of an exhausted male shopper sleeping next to this tea set.
We’re sure he was happy to come across these comfortable-looking seats in the shop - a perfect place to take a not-so-discreet nap. Perhaps someone can serve him some caffeinated tea in one of those teacups?

Perhaps he should take a hint from the man next to him who came prepared with a towel that doubles as a handy napping pillow!

When it comes to accompanying their loved ones on a shopping trip, many men choose to find a place where they won’t have to take part in any actual shopping. Unfortunately, this man’s hiding spot wasn’t that great and he found himself becoming a human clothing rack.
With a pile of outfits and a purse under his arm, this man has been forced into becoming the designated person in charge of carrying his shopping partner’s things. Judging by his concerned expression, he looks like his arms might fall off if he has to carry one more thing!
If I Fit, I Sit
Like many of the cats on the internet, bored men also find some pretty funny and weird places to sit. This man decided that if he was going to have to carry a heavy stroller around a mall, he might as well take advantage of it and use it as the perfect sitting place to make a phone call.
We’re actually interested in what’s going on in the background - it looks like our friend in the stroller is just one of many equally bored men waiting around!
An After-Lunch Nap
Even the biggest fan of dim-sum can reach the point where they can no longer eat another bite and must take a nap. This man in this mall’s food court looks like he had a big delicious nap and was too exhausted to do anything except sleep.
Considering that he’s wearing two hats, we’re sure that his shopping partner still has the energy to eat and shop, even though he has been defeated.
A Future Full of Shopping
With his hands clasped in his lap, this older man looks like he’s patiently (and miserably) waiting for his loved ones to finish shopping. Sitting on this stark modern bench, this man looks like he hopes his partner will be back soon because he is deeply uncomfortable.
He seems to have no interest in this new future filled with shopaholics and uncomfortable seating! We’re sure he misses the days when stores were smaller, or at least provided more comfortable seating options - a hilarious and perfectly captured contrast between old and new.
Blending In
At first glance of this image, you might not even notice that there’s even a person in this photo. But look carefully, and you’ll see a particularly bored and sleepy man resting comfortably in this chair in a waiting room.
While we’re sure he wishes the chair provided more head support, he looks to have practically become one with the chair as he sleeps. With his fuzzy vest and sleepy position, he looks like he doesn’t plan on getting up anytime soon.

There are some things that children learn from their parents or older family members. These young boys seemed to learn the most important lesson about accompanying someone to the mall - look for the most comfortable seating around you and claim it!

We have to hand it to this store, most stores do not offer enough or even any seating. This one offers four seats! These four men must have been relieved when their loved ones chose this store to shop in, as it has ample seating and big windows for a picturesque view.
While the man close to the window seems to be pretty engrossed in whatever he’s looking at on his phone, the man with the lavender shirt seems to be asking the guy next to him “how long have you been here?”. His expression seems to say, “an eternity!”
A Vacation-Worthy Nap
One of the best parts about taking a beach vacation is taking a beachside nap while you listen to the waves gently crash to shore. Can’t find a beach, but still have the beach chairs? That’s okay, just close your eyes and soon you’ll be dreaming about those warm tropical destinations.
These men decided that the beach-themed store shopping was too much for them and so they decided to take advantage of these oversized beach chairs. It might be 5 O'clock somewhere, but over here, it’s definitely nap time!

With such a busy and intricate print on the wallpaper, you would think that this man would be more interested to see the artistic design behind him, but you’d be wrong. This man seems pretty tired of looking at this complex wallpaper and has decided to shut his eyes for a bit of a rest.

When you’re walking through a big-box store, it can easily get overwhelming. With seemingly endless rows of supersized items, people of any age can feel exhausted. These two older men decided to take a break from shopping for oversized items.
Unfortunately, they chose a pretty strange place. Towering over these sitting men is an army of especially creepy-looking giant teddy bears. While they seem pretty comfortable sitting next to these plush giants, perhaps it’s because we’ve seen too many horror movies but we would be a bit creeped out.

As many stores have embraced a more modern and sleek appearance, one of the first things to go are usually seating options. But never free - when it comes to finding seating, there is no one more determined than a bored man.
These men discovered that while the store may be lacking in chairs, the entrance of the shop offers tons of relatively comfortable places to park their behinds - the stairs! Cool and well-lit, what more can these men ask for?

We don’t know if it's because he’s been waiting for a seemingly infinite amount of time, or it's the bench severely lacking in cushioning, but this man has a pretty sour-looking facial expression as he waits in this mall.
Though he may seem out of place in this modern-looking mall in his traditional garb, he doesn't seem too happy to have been dragged to the mall. His face looks like he’s really not too happy to have his picture taken.
Napping in Style
While some bored men look pretty unphotogenic as they snooze, the same cannot be said about this guy. Forget having an open-mouthed, drooling, or sleepy expression on their face, this man simply exudes style.
Wearing a snazzy brown three-piece suit and pointed white shoes and a matching hat, this is a man who knows how to dress. Judging by his choice of chairs, he also knows how to pick a good place to nap! When it comes to choosing a king of napping men, we think we would nominate this well-dressed gentleman.

If you’re going to spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on a new addition to your living room, you want to make sure you feel absolutely comfortable in it! This man is simply testing out what might be his new favorite living room chair.
While we think that chair looks a bit small for him, this man is just seeing how comfortable he’ll be scrolling on his phone not just in this store, but in his own home. It’s pretty genius if you ask us!

Some shopping centers have replaced comfortable seating options with modern sculptures and other works of art. While you would think that these new and modern mall additions would mean fewer places for bored men to nap, this picture proves that’s not true.
Testing the limits of the body’s ability to contort, this man has found what is probably one of the most unique places to get a bit of shut-eye. Cradling into this round part of a sculpture shaped like a number three, he’s not only sleepy but determined.
Sofa of Your Napping Dreams
While some shopping malls are doing away with providing places to sit, some are simply embracing these tired shoppers.
Perhaps they feel that if they can’t beat them, they might as well invite them to sleep! This long sofa lined with plush padding simply begs to be slept on and these men look all too happy to try it out. We’re not going to lie - we wouldn’t mind having one of these oversized couches in our living rooms.
Sit and Stare
When you’re shopping all day, you may feel the need to stop and catch your breath - even if it means sitting on the ground in the middle of the shoe department. This man decided that he had enough shopping when he sat down in this store.
While we probably would find a cleaner place to rest, this man looks perfectly content with his choice - even if it means being at risk of being hit with a shopping cart! We have a feeling it's the last time his loved ones drag him out for a day of shopping!
Sunburned and Sleepy
As many vacationers know, spending all day in the sun can be exhausting. This man must have spent a great deal of time outside before coming back in for an epic nap. With his sunburned face and open mouth, he looks like someone should place a “do not disturb” sign on him!
While most people would have opted for the comfy-looking couch, perhaps he didn’t want to be disturbed by other similarly exhausted guests.

We’ve all been there - you decide to accompany someone while they just want to try on a “few” things. Suddenly that one-innocent small pile of clothes turns into an entire wardrobe meaning lots of time waiting around outside of the fitting room.
This poor guy looks like he got roped up into a similar situation. Exhausted from watching his shopaholic partner, he decided to catch some sleep in the most comfortable place he could find - leaning against a shopping cart!

As more and more stores begin to feature life-like mannequins, many shoppers can have trouble distinguishing between what’s real and what’s not. Case in point, can you spot the real child sleeping next to these mannequins?
While it took us quite a bit of time to find him, this little boy decided to fall asleep on this shop’s display platform. Complete with his recently created teddy bear, this little boy looks perfectly comfortable in this unexpected but perfect place to nap.
Shopping Like a Dog
When you’re a dog, it seems like any trip outside is a reason to celebrate - even if it means accompanying your owners for long shopping trips. While their owner may look grouchy as he waits for his loved one to finish shopping, the same cannot be said about these adorable little pooches!
They look beyond ecstatic to be part of this shopping expedition and look perfectly content as they relax on their owner’s comfy lap. It’s no wonder dogs are considered man’s (and shoppers’) best friends!
Five More Minutes Please
If you have to be dragged to a store, hope that it’s this furniture store. Forget standard chairs or having to find a corner to sit in, this store offers the best option for men who are done shopping - a welcoming plush bed complete with pillows and sheets.
This beacon of nap time has attracted the interest of this man who has taken advantage of it, going so far as to remove his shoes to get comfortable. If any partner is looking for their bored male shopping partner, they should probably check the bed section!
Underwhelming Undergarments
While a lingerie store may be an interesting store for many men, these men look completely uninterested in the selection of skimpy clothing on display. In fact, these men are so apathetic towards their surroundings, that many of them rather just look at their phones.
We do have to give this store credit. It’s almost as if they anticipated throngs of bored men and so they built this bench. If you build it, they will come (the exhausted-from-shopping men that is!).
Epic Hats for Epic Men
Looking at this photo, it’s easy to assume that this man looks practically at home next to all of these antiques and vintage items. Wearing a traditional Russian hat known as an “ushanka” and a handlebar mustache, he looks like he should be in a history book rather than an antiques shop!
But here he is, looking a mixture of confused and bored. Sitting on that oversized and ornate chair, he looks like a king about to give orders from his throne - we’re sure his first order of business will be declaring “no more shopping!”
Hold Me Closer
There are some photos that just so happened to be taken at the right place and the right time. This person took a picture of this particularly strange moment between a shopper and a scantily-clad mannequin.
We’re not exactly sure what’s going on in this photo - perhaps he just happened to place his arm in this hilarious way because he was falling asleep standing up, or maybe he was just losing his balance and grabbed the first thing he could find. Either way, we’re not sure he’s going to be welcome at this store again!
Make Yourself at Home
We’ve all been there - you stop by the grocery store to pick up a couple of things and before you know it you’ve been spending more than an hour waltzing through the aisles filling up your cart with all sorts of unnecessary items.
This man looks like his partner probably told him she would just be a “few minutes” but he knows better. He quickly commandeered the large sofa in front of the shop and made himself comfortable. Unfortunately for his partner, his sleeping style seems to be a bit embarrassing!
A Zen Moment
While some men look pretty irritable at the idea of being forced to go to the mall and wait, this man looks practically zen. Wearing a traditional Japanese garment, this man looks a bit out of place in this modern mall.
That said, his expression looks like so many men around the world who have also fallen asleep while waiting for loved ones as they shop. With his pleasant facial expression, he looks like he doesn’t have a care in the world - even if it means he’ll be sitting on this bench for a long time.
Send Help!
There comes a point in everyone’s life when you just accept your situation - kind of like this man. He looks like he knows that this shopping trip isn’t going to end soon and so he just plopped down next to the multiple baskets of items, perhaps hoping to disappear from view.
With his long stare and sullen expression, we hope someone comes to check on him soon. He seems to practically disappear into the piles of clothing and accessories and endless rows of packed clothing racks!
King of the Bored Men of the Mall
While some men try to find the most discreet place to take a nap, this man has no qualms about sitting in the most over-the-top chair he could find. Surrounded by shoppers and lingerie, this man looks like the only thing he cares about is making sure no one sits on his throne!
Sitting in his hot pink and oversized chair, perhaps he thinks his crossed arms and scowl will make his loved one hurry up so they can finally get out of this shop!
Young and Bored
For many adults, the thought of spending the day looking at expensive designer shoes may seem like an ideal way to spend your time. This kid, however, looks like he much rather be on the playground.
So what does a bored child do when they can’t go outside to play? He turns this elegant shoe showroom into his own personal jungle gym! Balancing precariously on this seat, he looks like he’s attempting the past social media phenomenon once known as “planking” - much to the dismay of other shoppers!
Snore in Color
The creators of this jazzy and bright ad probably thought that their sign would help inspire shoppers to truly live their lives “in color” (whatever that means). Unfortunately, this sign seems to have the opposite effect on this man.
This man is living his ideal life, just in a far less energetic way! His exhausted appearance and deep sleep make for a pretty hilarious contrast to this bubbly sign and punchy colors. Forget living in color - this man is living at the mall at this point!
Go to Your Corner
While many children consider being forced to sit in a corner as the most boring punishment, it seems like this man is all too happy to sit in the corner if it means he doesn’t have to take part in any shopping.
While he has the right idea regarding removing his shoes for extra comfort, many have pointed out that he would be far more comfortable with his back against the wall and his legs stretched out on the bench and even extending onto the nearby chair.
