Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson tumbled into love on the set of the 2006 romantic comedy ‘You, Me and Dupree’. Kate happened to be married to Black Crows’ lead singer, Chris Robinson, so by the time the film was released, Kate and Chris separated.
But things weren’t perfect. For three years, Owen and Kate yo-yoed through breakups and makeups. In 2008 they married after Owen tried to take his own life. But the marriage didn’t last.
Leann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian
Leann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian fell hard for each other while filming a made-for-TV romantic drama. The sizzling affair nearly crashed and burned. Eddie was still, in fact, married to "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Brandi Glanville, and Leann was still married to Dean Sheremet.
Brandi and Leann sparred publicly. After the divorces, custody issues, and drama simmered down, Leann and Eddie married in 2011.
Amber Heard and Johnny Depp
This marriage was more like a street fight than holy matrimony. Hollywood A-listers Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s knot stayed tied for less than two years. The fallout is a he-said-she-said melee of accusations including physical abuse, restraining orders, and photos of facial bruising.
Depp filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against Amber. After a very public trial that will most likely become a Netflix show one day, Depp won.
Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal
Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal were once one of Hollywood's most beloved couples. Starting in 1979, the relationship between these two A-list actors lasted nearly 20 years. They even had a son named Redmond James Fawcett O'Neal, in 1985. However, throughout the 90s, this celeb relationship was more than just a little tumultuous.
The relationship ended after Fawcett caught O'neal cheating in 1997. But, in 2001, even after O'neal's daughter reported her father had been violent with Fawcett many times, the two actors got back together. Fawcett and O'Neal stayed together up until 2009 when she tragically passed away after a three-year battle with cancer. O'Neal joined her 14 years later, in October 2023.
Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin
Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin met on the set of "The O.C., but fell in love while filming "Gotham". She was just a guest star on "The O.C.", adoring Ben from afar. In "Gotham" Ben finally noticed her. When he did, they were both married, but the passionate affair only grew hotter.
When Morena became pregnant, she filed for divorce and then gave birth to Ben’s daughter in March 2016. They married on Morena’s birthday in Brooklyn, New York. It was June 2nd, 2017.
