Despite not even being born in the states – he’s from South Korea originally – Daniel Dae Kim has joined the millions of others who love cheering on their favorite team. Seeing as how he’s a famous actor, and now there are a few teams that call Los Angeles home, he picked the Rams as his favorites.
While it seems too easy just to call him a bandwagon fan, it turns out that Kim even watched the Rams while he was spending time in his childhood country. Of course, he also got to watch them win a Super Bowl, as this picture attests.
Los Angeles Chargers: Phil Mickelson
Since they've moved, a good amount of the star power that had tied themselves to the team fell away, whether it was because they were just hanging on to the bandwagon or because they were actually upset at the move. However, this PGA name remains a big fan despite the team packing up and relocating.
Mickelson, nicknamed Lefty, has won forty-four events on the PGA tour, including five major championships. He's a friend of Chargers owner Dean Spanos, and though he didn't endear himself to the San Diego fans, he still makes it down to the field during halftime every once in a while.
Green Bay Packers: Lil' Wayne
The Packers actually have quite a number of celeb fans, including Justin Timberlake and Harry Styles, but one of the biggest is rapper Lil' Wayne. Let's put it this way — have you put out a bangin' hype song about your favorite team? Even those who don't like hip-hop or rap that much can't help but groove to “Green and Yellow,” which came out early in 2021.
Weezy grew up in the New Orleans area, but when he watched the Packers beat the Pats in Super Bowl XXXI, he was a fan for life. When he was a kid, if he saw something with the Packers on it, he had to have it.
Detroit Lions: Eminem
Marshall Mathers, known by the entire rap world as Eminem, is well-known for being from Detroit. If he's a football fan, that can only mean one thing: He's a fan of the Detroit Lions. Poor guy. The Lions haven't seen a lot of success in the last...well, ever.
Still, they have their collection of die-hard fans that will step out in silver and blue for every home game. As we can see in this pic, Eminem has even had the chance to toss the coin before one of the games, and as a native son of Motor City, we're sure it was an exciting moment.
Minnesota Vikings: Chris Jericho
Born in the United States and raised in Canada for part of his life, Chris Jericho has a love for all things North. The Vikings hail from the NFC North, so why not? While he hasn't been able to watch his team win the big game (the Vikings are still 0-4 in that category), he's at least been able to watch them field some good teams in the past decade.
They haven't really done anything noteworthy with those teams, but winning the Super Bowl is hard, no matter how many Tom Bradys you have on your team. Has Jericho ever thought of joining the team? At his age...probably not anymore.
