Luke Wilson is a familiar face for audiences worldwide and is primarily known for his comedic screen persona. Wilson has not landed a leading role in a few years and has been in the supporting actor column.
The handsome artist has recently expressed a few misgivings about growing older and admitted that he has become “panicky” about a few realities, such as commitment and starting a family. For the record, the actor has never been married nor fathered any children. Ladies, this is your time to shine!
Tim Curry Now
Tragedy struck in 2012 when Tim Curry suffered a major stroke. The actor underwent years of rehabilitative therapy and, with the aid of his family, kept this from the public eye. Now confined to a wheelchair, Curry still does what he was born to do – act. Although unable to physically perform, the multitalented star now lends his impressive vocal range to voice-acting roles.
He made a cameo in 2016’s "The Rocky Horror Picture Show Let’s Do the Time Warp Again." Curry made a very rare and unexpected appearance at a 2020 Democratic Party fundraiser.
Luke Wilson Then
American actor and all-around nice guy Luke Wilson struck gold as the object of Cameron Diaz’s affections in the 2000 reboot and its 2003 sequel. Wilson played the part of Pete Kominsky, a smoldering yet unassuming waiter that crosses paths with Diaz’s character, spy Natalie Cook.
Wilson had special access to the role as he starred in no less than two romantic comedies with Drew Barrymore: "Home Fries" and "Best Men." It must have also helped that Wilson and Barrymore shared a longstanding romance!
LL Cool J Then
Rapper LL Cool J had already dipped his toes into a number of film roles before making a cameo in the Drew Barrymore-produced 2000 blockbuster. His brief cameo had him play Mr. Jones, a passenger on an airplane carrying a crazed bomber. Jones wrestles the bomber literally out of the plane where the other Angels, in the form of Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz, apprehend him.
The now-famous scene has a Mission Impossible-inspired face reveal, as LL Cool J removes his mask to reveal it has been Angel Dylan Saunders, played by Drew Barrymore, the entire time.
LL Cool J Now
LL Cool J has been a mainstay in the entertainment industry for over thirty years, and he continues to add to his musical and acting portfolio. He has made guest appearances in shows such as "30 Rock", "NCIS", and "Hawaii-Five-O".
The celebrated performer has a reputation for investing in upcoming talent and founded a startup website that promotes aspiring musicians to upload their music and gain fans and potential opportunities within the industry. He received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and recently added his name to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
