Nathan Lane has over 40 years of creation to his name. In 2010 he received the title “The greatest stage entertainer of the decade”, which he gracefully earned. His voice is one of a kind and he has been voicing many of our favorite characters.
Timon, the loveable meerkat in The Lion King is only one of the characters Lane takes credit for. He voiced characters in Stuart Little, Mouse Hunt, and Toy Story.
Katey Sagal – Futurama
It's difficult to think of Katey Sagal and not think about the Bundys, however, there is a lot more to Sagal than just being a shoe salesman's wife. Besides numerous TV shows, she has had her share of widescreen appearances and was the voice behind Leela in Futurama.
Futurama is an American adult animated show. Leela is a one-eyed captain of the Express Ship. She believes she is an alien, however, eventually discovers she is a mutant. A bit different than the Peggy role we all associate Sagal with.
James Earl Johns – The Lion King
We couldn't go through the Lion King's cast without mentioning James Earl Johns, who voiced Mufasa, Simba's father. Being a king in his own right, Earl Johns voiced the character both in the original movie and in the remake that was launched in 2019.
James has been described as one of America's most versatile and outstanding actors. He voiced Darth Vader in Star Wars and has had an impressive career on the theater stage and the wide screen.
Chris Rock – Madagascar
One of the most hilarious characters in the movie Madagascar has to be Marty the Zebra. It came as no surprise when Chris Rock was called to voice the role. Rock has said that he put an effort into making Marty a black zebra and that in fact, he IS Marty.
Chris Rock is one of the funniest stand-up comedians alive. He has starred in Lethal Weapon, Head of State, and remained loyal to Marty through all of the Madagascar movies.
Bill Murray – Garfield: The Movie
Since the early 1970s, Bill Murray has been giving us hours of pure entertainment, in movies, tv shows, and as the voice of the overweight lasagna-loving cat, Garfield in the 2004 adaptation.
Bill Murray is best known for his roles in Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day, and of course, we can't go without, Saturday Night Live.
