Gary Neville has a rich history behind him from the soccer field, however, this image gets us wondering if being a soccer player was really his intention in life. We think not.
The more we look at this photo of him, the more we are sure that playing the role of Victor from “Corpse Bride” was his calling. We’re certain he fits better in the animated movies rather than running after a ball with the rest of the guys.
A True Heartbreaker
Michael Owen, oh, Michael Owen. We absolutely adore almost everything about you. You are a remarkable soccer player, you are drop-dead gorgeous, however, when it comes to haircuts, you're not quite qualified to make your own decisions.
Is it only us or does the front part look like it was deliberately cut in the shape of a heart? What was Owen trying to say with this hairdo? That he adores us back, or that he doesn't really give a sh#t about what we think?
The Mullet Days
If there is one stage in hair fashion history that has to be erased from all books, it is definitely the 1980s mullet hairstyle, which between you and us, had no style at all.
It's shame that Lothar Matthäus, the German soccer star wasn't aware of this, as he could have saved himself from the image above. Maybe it works in German?
This Is Not an Excuse!
Let's go back in time to 1974. It's the World Cup and Germany has just won the finals. The match ended 2-1 for Germany, titling them the ultimate champions.
Does all this information excuse Franz Beckenbauer's wavy near-bob hairdo? Does this give the reasoning for the side part and the lost curl on his forehead? Weren't there any standards back then?
Someone Didn't Finish the Job
Fabian Johnson, who played for the USA national team, is known for wearing a headband in his frizzy style, and most of the time, he can get away with it. However, sometimes he can't.
This time it looks as if someone went over his head with a lawn mower and didn't complete the job. Maybe it's time someone tells Johnson it's time to send the frizzes on their way?
