Delvar posted on his Facebook account; “Discovery of your purpose and potential sets you free from other people’s prescription of what they think you should be”. His friendship with Brooklyn was not one you come across every day, and Delvar knew this.
He realized what an influence he had on her little world. He embraced it and opened his heart. Never in a million years did he ever think that the little blonde girl from the kitchen window would have such an impact on him.
It Was Now His Party
Traci was not going to ignore Delvar's good news and decided to throw him a party. It was the end of the garbage truck era, however, it was the beginning of a new life with what Delvar really wanted to do.
Delvar's last truck driving day was very special and very emotional. The announcement went all over social media and it was the perfect farewell for the very special Thursdays he had given to so many children.
Born to Spread Happiness
It was in his DNA. Delvar was born to make other people happy. The feeling of helping others made him so fulfilled, that the real estate days ended not long after they began. His true calling was just around the corner.
Delvar became a motivational speaker and a significant part of the Eregon 206 movement. Through this, he spreads his warmth, wisdom, and words and brings together many people from various cultures and backgrounds.
She Did It All
Like so many situations in life, Delvar was simply doing his job, and little Brooklyn was doing what all little children do. They turn those special people that come their way into superheroes and build a whole world around them.
And apparently, without realizing it, we adults do the same thing too. Many of the little souls that come our way make a significant change in our lives, and although we think we know better and have more experience, little children have the innocence and honesty that we lost long ago.
We can all relate to that young boy standing alone on the front lawn, waiting to see the firetruck or police car pass. As soon as those flashing blue lights are seen in the distance, excitement, and emotions take over. Those men in blue have made that little child's day.
Klynn Scales was a little girl waiting daily to spot the police car drive by, however, she wasn't standing on her front lawn. She was waving to the policeman from inside her house, hiding a secret that would eventually devastate the police officer, and at the same time, turn him into a hero.
