Tommy and Heather adored one another. He was once referred to as a devil-worshiper, and Heather laughed and said, “Tommy doesn’t worship the devil; he worships me.” They would often talk about what kind of grandparents the two would be.
Another funny incident the couple had, was that initially, Tommy didn’t know who Heather portrayed on TV. He thought she was Heather Thomas, who starred in ‘The Fall Guy.”
Now, this was a match that seemed kind of weird at first. It turns out that Tommy Lee and blonde sweetheart actress Heather Locklear were married for eight years! They were very young, Tommy being 23 and Heather 24. The year was 1986, and they were both at the height of their careers.
The couple met at an REO Speedwagon concert, and it was love at first sight. Lee proposed after three months, and they had a huge wedding with over 500 celebrities. Everything went fine for the first year or two before Tommy started behaving like a proper rockstar.
Heather and Tommy were the opposite of one another. At their wedding, Heather was a beautiful princess in white, and Tommy, wearing a matching white suit with lace trimming, was the wild and outrageous rock star. Ans their wedding was one too.
It was reported that everything about that day was excessive, even the weeding gifts they received. They were given adult-only toys and seductive lingerie, and the main show at the part was mud wrestling in bikinis.
Once a Rock Star, Always a Rock Star
Heather was interviewed at the time, and she confidently said, “I’ve only thought of getting married once, “I plan for this one to last.” Reality thought otherwise. Tommy found it difficult to stay faithful to his wife.
There were rumors going around about Tommy being unfaithful to Heather with an adult-only star. Heather was having non of this and decided to divorce the rock star without giving him second chance.
One Out of Many
By 1994, Heather Locklear was already holding hands with some other rock star, and her name was added to Tommy's ex-list. Although they bitterly ended their romance, they managed to forgive and forget.
These days Heather has no hard feelings toward Tommy, and although it is hard to say, she acknowledges that she was just one woman out of many.
